The COVID-19 pandemic forced many people online, and Dr. Mario Lehenbauer-Baum’s office is no exception. Already heavily invested in research about online-based interventions, he was able to quickly switch to providing Telehealth services, which is now a huge focus for individual and couple counseling services. It allows you to connect with Dr. Mario Lehenbauer-Baum with secure and convenient appointments, and it saves you time and hassle. There’s no need to deal with traffic when you can schedule and attend your appointments directly from a laptop or mobile device! Psychological Telehealth services have the same purpose or intention as psychotherapy or psychological treatment sessions that are conducted in person.
Telehealth services may not be suitable for every client and/or every situation or issue, and there are always certain security and confidentiality risks no matter what technology you use. Dr. Mario Lehenbauer-Baum uses a HIPAA compliant software; through audio and video over the internet, you can meet with him on-the-go from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device (iOS or Android) – it’s your choice!
Feel free to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to set up an intake session (and Dr. Lehenbauer-Baum will provide more information about Telehealth services).
